Why aren't more people using structured spreads?
Not trying to judge anyone's practice, but I've noticed a lot of beginners post 5-6 loose cards and then struggle to interpret them. I genuinely wonder if structured spreads are underused because people think they're restrictive, or because they just never learned them. What's your experience?

most people learn from 60-second videos now. spreads don't fit in a reel
structured spreads felt restrictive to me too, until I realized the positions do half the interpreting for you
I start beginners on a 3-position spread. loose pulls overwhelm them and they freeze
loose pulls aren't wrong, they're just a different skill. freeform takes longer to learn though
Celtic Cross scared me off spreads for a year. ten cards?? no thanks. then I found 5-card ones and it clicked
a lot of people never learn positions because most content skips straight to card meanings
paying clients get structured spreads. casual pulls are for my own journal. different tools
positions give you grammar. without grammar you're just reading individual words 🌿
