Tarot and mental health boundaries

I keep seeing questions like "can the cards tell me if my partner is a narcissist?". I don't think tarot diagnoses personality disorders. But I also don't want to just say "it's all projection". How do you handle readings where someone is clearly looking for clinical answers from the cards?

my hard rule: I don't read on medication, diagnosis, or 'should I leave my therapist'. ever

if someone's in crisis, the reading stops and I point them to professional help. no exceptions

tarot can support reflection but it can't treat anything. knowing that line is the whole ethics game

someone once asked me if her meds were 'blocking her spirit'. I said that's a doctor conversation. she thanked me later

boundaries protect the client AND you. I burned out before I learned this

anyone reading for strangers should have a written list of topics they don't touch. saves so much grief

the moment a reading turns into therapy you've gone past your scope. none of us have that license

I keep a crisis line number in my notes app. hope I never need to share it but it's there
